"Winning world kombucha awards has truly helped us gaining recognition at the Swedish kombucha market and also among fellow brewers. Our opinion is that, in Sweden, kombucha has a bit of a sad reputation due to variations in quality, and we have worked hard to introduce kombucha in a new way. "It was an honour to be recognised by International Awards and to be appreciated by different countries. As a result of the Award, Kompassion Kombucha has gained positive publicity and I have come in contact with some really fabulous business leads- We are happy to share our experiences and good practice with fellow companies. Not a day has gone by since Kompassion Kombucha was nominated for the award. To our team it means a lot and they were proud to attend the event. "We participated to the World Kombucha Awards to see how our kombucha’s would do against other brands. It was less for being able to promote our products afterwards.

Having said this we have noticed that our social post announcing the winning of several awards was one of the most popular posts we have ever made on our social media. Some of our commercial partners picked up the post and reposted it allowing us to gain more credibility within their organisation and beyond. For us, this represents a big value as it intensifies the collaboration with our distribution partners.

The awards were also a (mental) boost for the entire team that has been working for over 5 years to get where we are today. The awards were seen as an acknowledgment of the industry for that hard work.

We expect to benefit more from the awards during upcoming spring and summer. During this period our communication peaks and we will (hopefully) be able to be picked up by media. One of our award winning kombucha’s was a limited release flavour which was only temporary on the markt. We decided to relaunch it upcoming spring allowing us to communicate again about the awards."
